“Grenache sourced from a 1925-planted vineyard just outside Tanunda, 10% whole bunch, matured for 9 months in 33% clay jarres, 33% seasoned French oak, and 33% new French oak. Raspberry-flecked red plum and red and dark cherry fruits with underlying exotic spice, citrus blossom, cranberry, crushed herbs and wildflowers. There's an elasticity and suppleness to the proceedings on the palate, with fine tannins and some nice crunch to the acidity.”
